NES Health has had relationships with many of its clients for over 10 years, and some for as long as 40. When you're nurturing valuable long-term relationships like this, it's important to constantly ask, "Are we continuing to raise the bar by meeting the changing needs of both hospital and patients?"
Achieving Excellence at Day Kimball
Advancing quality and service at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut has been a goal of Dr. Steven Wexler's for over 10 years. As a long-time NES team member and Site Medical Director at this facility, Dr. Wexler has achieved unprecedented levels of success within the ED. He attributes this to always asking how we can Get Better!, and by working closely with his staff to ensure best practices are followed and that patients are at the center of all activities. To date, Dr. Wexler and his team at Day Kimball have attained improvements that include:
• New, state of the art ED opened in 2015
• December 2014 JC Disease Specific Care Certification: Stroke
• Ultrasound credentialing program
• Door-to-balloon time improved from 250 minutes to 98 minutes
• Door-to-admission time went from 7.5 hours to 4.75 hours
• Door-to-discharge time went from 3.5 hours to 2 hours
The Power of Leadership
NES knows that one of the most important aspects of emergency medicine and thriving EDs is having great leadership. The success of our sites and our leadership team depends on having constant communication and a perpetual eye on ED best practices across the country. NES has a proven ability to support a successful idea at one site and share it with all of our sites. This allows us to continuously adapt to an ever-changing medical landscape and stay at the forefront of innovation.
It is not a provider of professional medical care services.
