About the Hospital

• A cozy, well-equipped 10-bed community hospital.

Coverage Areas Include

• CT
• Radiology (in-house during the day, tele at night)
• Hospitalists
• General Surgery

Program Details and Operational Hours

• An 8-bed Emergency Department, handling around 8,000 annual ED visits.
• The ED holds a 5% admission rate.
• ED physicians are responsible for writing bridge orders and responding to floor codes.
• NES provides ED coverage from 7:00 PM on Friday through 7:00 AM on Monday, offering a choice of 12- or 24-hour shifts. Please note that physicians cannot work more than 36 consecutive hours.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must have an active Georgia license or the ability to attain an unrestricted state license.
• Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• Active certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
