Qualifications For MLP’S

•   Must be a Graduate from an accredited physician assistant training program and be certified or eligible to be certified by NCCPA
•   Must comply with licensure and other regulations of the PA practice in the state in which he or she practices
•   Must develop or maintain qualifications through ongoing emergency medicine training and CME course
•   Minimum 1 year experience working full-time as a Physician Assistant

The Emergency Department (ED) provides patients with a high level of care when they need it most. The facility is equipped with 40 acute care beds, all with state-of-the-art bedside monitoring equipment. An on-site helipad provides rapid transfer of patients with life-threatening conditions.

The ED is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and SGMC has the only open heart surgery program in the region. The Stroke Team and Heart and Vascular Team are always available to treat life-threatening cardiac emergencies.

Camp Casey is a U.S. military base in Dongducheon, South Korea, 40 miles north of Seoul. Camp Casey was named in 1952 after Major Hugh Boyd Casey, who was killed in a plane crash near Camp Casey during the Korean War.
